Hi Frank

Thanks for you response. Your insights have already helped.

I tried the method of typing EMPTY-BUFFERS to recover from typing accidents,
but it happened so often that it became a hinderance as it derailed my train of
thought. I anticipate this would be a discouragement for little kids, so I made
the changes to pygmy 1.7 to automate typo-recovery and to make it more
"kid friendly". Other "preference" changes are included as information, since
they are already in my notes, and you might be interested in what people do
with your work after it leaves you.

1. Changed ATTR to $03 to make the screen easier on my eyes and help with (6c)
2. changed recompile filenames to be slightly more descriptive:
    E1-kern.com, E2-EDIT.com E3-asm.com E4-final.com
3. changed block 140 default loads to
    a. 145 view for listing only, not auto edit
    b. 149 Of Thens (for colors)
4. Changed block 141
    a. 172-173 COLORS
5. Changed block 142
    a. include time from dos for auto-time stamps (not yet implemented)
6. Changes to EDIT
  a. block 103 - display slightly more descriptive text in header "Ins" and
"Ovr" for insert and overtype modes instead of " i " or nothing
  b. block 103 - make insert mode "Ins" by default (I couldn't notice when I trashed
     the text from fat fingers)
  c. block 103 - added variable ED-HILITE initalized to $47 for the
      screen attribute for edits
  d. block 103 - added word ED-SWAP to swap the "normal" ATTR with the
      edit-highlight ATTR
  e. block 104 added ED-SWAP to S! to change screen attribute of character typed
  f. block 105 same as (e) for DELETE
  g. block 112 CTL^A ALTERNATE calls FLUSH to commit changes (explicite save changes)
  h. block 114 - ESC from EDIT calls EMPTY-Buffers (explicite discard changes)
  i. block 114 - ESC also causes ED to clear screen and redisplay final contents
      of block.
