/ldap/README: LDAP protocol implementation

*Description

The Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) is a directory access
protocol that runs directly over TCP/IP. It is documented in RFCs 1777
and 1778, and is a draft Internet standard. LDAP can be used to
implement a native stand-alone LDAP directory service, or it can be
used to access an X.500-based directory service.
