This directory contains the kernel updates as published on June 18th 2003.
If you install the updates using the command

  rpm -Fhv your_kernel_package.rpm

you must make sure afterwards that your freshly installed kernels are
prepared for booting. The kernel RPM packages in this directory do _not_
resolve this task automatically.
If you are using lilo as bootloader, please type "lilo" as root after the
successful completion of the rpm command above. Errors are rare but should
not be ignored for the sake of a properly booting linux system.

Announcement about the Linux kernel in SuSE Linux products.

Note: The kernel update packages will be available via YOU (Yast Online
Update) shortly.
