X Server Project at freedesktop.org

This project is a research vehicle for exploratory X server
development. New extensions, new hardware abstractions and horribly
broken code are all expected to be a part of the experience.

The main DDXes are kdrive (formerly TinyX, and formerly the only DDX in
xserver), Xizzle (formerly from the XFree86 Project), and X/Win (from the Cygwin
Project).
