You're a sensitive, my friend. I also, like you, am suspecting a problem
like that. This because, some time ago, I experimented a little
connecting the notebook at the TV video-in, changing something in the
control-panel's video setup.
But, currently, the setup *seems* ok. Maybe, disabling and re-enabling
the video-card can fix the problem, mah!

Why? Windows XP is a wonderfull system, if you do not pretend to
learn something using it or exploring its help system.
