I get no response when I use pppd. In fact when I use ppp-on I get the
following message
Turn on the modem (if any!) and press -RETURN
Starting pppd.
Please, wait................................................................

....
..........................................................................
when i try doing setup -f ppp0 at the end of configuration I get the message
Modem Detected. Waiting fro Peer's connection
Attempt 1, timeout 15 seconds: Ctrl-C to interrupt
Attempt 2, timeout 15 seconds: Ctrl-C to interrupt
Attempt 3, timeout 15 seconds: Ctrl-C to interrupt
Attempt 4, timeout 15 seconds: Ctrl-C to interrupt
this keeps on going indefinitely.
what shud i do to solve this
