Hi,
What do you say about including a minimalistic, but very well functioning, dns with mu?
Dnrd works as a simple dns, that uses the hosts-file as database while offline. When online it works as a forwarder for current dns on the net (use dnrd -p <new-dns> in connect-script).
There is more functionality in Dnrd, you can find it at http://members.home.com/garsh/dnrd/, please consider it.
