Because ppp Setup allow this choice:
[1] Configure PPP for connections to your ISP via modem.
[2] Configure PPP to link together two PCs via cable.
I think a better solution should be to provide a [3]th solution:
[3] Configure PPP to accept incoming dial-in request
and to rename the "go" script simply "start-ppp".
But please, let me know: do you setup in setup/server the agetty in
dialin mode, it's true? It work properly for you without
modification?
If you can implement that in general way, thanks: otherwise, I will
try soon.
