I had this same problem of the Tcl distribution seeming to be corrupt (even
got the same message), and when I d/l'd the file using shift-click with
Internet Explorer, the file size was different and the file installed fine.
The file size reported by Win 98 is 1705840 bytes in the file properties
dialog or 1666kb in Windows Explorer for the correct file. If the file
downloads incorectly, it will be > 1700kb in Windows Explorer (to the best
of my recollection).

I fully believe the the file at my web stie is not corrupted, I have d/l
it a few times to be sure. I use Netscape under Linux, and 'shift-click'
the link with no problems.
I will have an update in just a few days (one updated program, one new
web utility, and possibly dropping a game to make room.)
I will at that time provide an additional http & ftp links, and it will
probably be OK for other mulinux sites to start mirroring it if they
choose to do so.
