Hello World of MuLinux!
Thanks for Michele! Missing a blue and sunny sunday finishing V7.
Thanks for Gerhard! The words about tar!
Thanks for Winsor! Explaining me the objectives and aim of MuLinux!
Great!
Sorry, my suggestion was absurd for Mulinux objective, to be an educational
tool. No more a word about this subject.
I´ll say once more, friends, I´m a MuLinux fan. Have you seem my previus
EMail.
Congrats, Great, It Works...
With V7 it´s doing what I want, "Telnet" and I was one of the first to
download and test.
Hey men, put your guns down, we will be good friends. No Flame war. Let´s
make peace and love. Peace with you all and love with womem.
No more problems, let´s talk about software.
Please, test your MuLinux v7 if grep is ok?
> This grep is rustic: it work only stdin/stdout, in pipe.
My ppp-on is returning:
/bin/grep: cannot open : no such file
No problem, it´s connecting, only ifconfig line is missing.
Same way RNA is responding: /bin/grep: cannot open : no such file
I can´t send EMails, it fails.
See, I´m running scripts, not grepping on prompt, "capiche"
Something extrange is happening about tar. I just followed instruction on
Help/archiving. It says that -z is illegal:
/# cat iptraf.tgz | gzip -dc | tar -zxf
tar: illegal option -- z
Usage: tar -c[bfvw] device block filename..
tar -r[bvw] device block [filename...]
tar -t[vf] device
tar -u[bvw] device block [filename...]
tar -x[flmovw] device [filename...]
I just followed the instructions except a minus sign at the end of line.
What is it for???
I live in Brasil and I speak Brasilian Portuguese, a little bit different
then that spoken in Portugal. Excuse me if my english is not correct.
Please, "ask me" if you cant understand anything.
See you later friends,
Um abraço,
