# Optics extension verification

Local source validation for the unreleased optics additions.

- Added plane mirror, plano-convex/plano-concave lenses, and positive/negative
  meniscus presets. Existing shapes retain their percentage directions.
- `l3build check`: all ten suites passed. The optics suites contain 126 and
  148 PASS records, covering aliases, endpoints, cap direction, transformations,
  instance-local geometry, flat-radius independence, and debug families.
- Reference coverage includes every new shape and its percentage endpoints.
- `generate_reference.py --check`: 75 feature references verified.
- `build_overleaf_bundle.py --check`: the single runtime file matches source.
- The single-file runtime compiled `main.tex`, `optics-variants.tex`, and
  `optics-percentage-anchors.tex` in `tmp/optics-anchors/isolated-upload`,
  without split package libraries. The recorder identified local `tikzphysics.sty`.
- The monochrome optics galleries were rendered and visually inspected.
- The full manual was rebuilt with pdfLaTeX and shell escape for minted;
  the optics pages were inspected for geometry, labels, and table layout.

## Deliverables

- `output/overleaf/tikzphysics.sty`: single-file runtime.
- `output/overleaf/tikzphysics-overleaf.zip`: runtime, starter, README,
  two optics gallery sources, and the optics guide.
- `docs/optics-anchors.md`: dimensions, directions, styles, and installation.
- `docs/optics-variants.pdf` and `docs/optics-percentage-anchors.pdf`: galleries.
- `tikzphysics.tex` / `tikzphysics.pdf`: full source manual and compiled manual.

These are local changes. No CTAN submission, TeX Live installation, or
remote Overleaf project update was performed. Existing release archives
remain historical snapshots. Upload the current single file or ZIP to use
these additions on Overleaf.
