# tikzphysics 1.6.0 release verification

Prepared and submitted on 2026-09-27.

- CTAN validation: HTTP 200, no errors or warnings.
- CTAN upload: HTTP 200, `Upload succeeded`; public publication is pending.
- Release archive: `tikzphysics-1.6.0-ctan.zip`; 104 entries, no build debris.
- All eight regression suites passed during `l3build ctan`.
- All 70 generated feature references and the single-file runtime are current.
- Local installed runtime matches the submitted archive byte for byte.
- Local spring and fluid/mechanics galleries compile and load user-tree v1.6.0.
- Isolated single-file Overleaf starter and gallery compile and load v1.6.0,
  with an empty user TeX tree and no split runtime modules.
- The 64-page manual was rebuilt; version cover, direction table, and debug
  settings pages were rendered and inspected. Previous full gallery visual
  checks remain applicable because release preparation only changed metadata.
- The manual, direction guides, and spring/fluid anchor gallery PDFs are in
  the archive and the refreshed user documentation tree.
- Version headers, CLI helper, README, changelog, upload configuration, and
  Overleaf archive were synchronized to v1.6.0.
