[oc] learning verilog

might it be possible to get some resources going (and hosted at opencores)
for those that would like to help out on projects but don't know squat
about verilog coding?  an email support resource (listserv) for verilog
newbys (where the wizards hang out to help others) and possibly a
beginning verilog class / web based tutorial would be of much help.  I see
this as a training ground for new help.  (help me learn so that I can
contribute being the idea)
